Taken (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) AUCKLAND, June 21. The thief who broke into the Auckland Carpenters’ Union offices at the week-end stole about f 65, but he did not enter prepared, for he had to use the office canopener to force the lid of the cashbox. He ransacked several drawers and took more than £6O in union subscriptions and £5 in petty cash. Intact in the safe was nearly £7O. The cashbox had not been put into the safe.
