Kiwi For Pope
A kiwi, hand-carved in New Zealand kauri, will be presented at the end of this month to Pope Paul VI. The presentation has been organised by the Combined Irish Societies of New Zealand, a group of which is to visit Rome during a trip to Ireland. Mr T. McNamara, the group leader, will make the presentation. The 46 persons of Irish origin will leave Auckland by air on Saturday. On the return trip they will spend a day at the New York World Fair.
