CARS DID NOT STOP
Man Run Over Three Tinies fN.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, June 21. Three cars ran over the body of a man killed in heavy fog at Pendle Hill, an outer suburb, early today. Police said the three cars failed to stop.
The man, a 54-year-old migrant, was running across the Great Western highway to catch a bus near the corner of Wyena road. A car bit him, continued for 50 yards, stopped, then sped off, police said. Its windscreen was broken. Another two cars close behind ran over the man's body on the roadway.
Police said the drivers of these two cars did not stop.
The next car braked suddenly to avoid the body and was rammed from behind by a fifth car.
