Strike May Fail
Z.P. A.-Reuter— Copyright) SANTO DOMINGO, June 21. A three-day general strike, called for today by two of the Dominican Republic’s three biggest unions, may prove a failure. The strike, called by unions which claim to have 250,000 members, has not received wide publicity. The strike is a gesture against United States intervention in the Dominican Republic, and in favour of the 1963 constitution.
