POLES VOTE
Gomulka Is Favoured (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) WARSAW. June 3. The Polish Communist leader, Mr Wladyslaw Gomulka. won a 99.3 per cent vote in his weekend re-election to Parliament, according to unofficial results in Warsaw newspapers. Mr Gomulka was first among six other elected candidates in his group, the Premier, Mr Josef Cyrankiewicz, was seventh among eight other elected candidates with a 94.4 per cent vote. The Polish President, Edward Ochab, was sixth among seven other elected candidates with 98.7 and the Foreign Minister, Mr Adam Rapacki, second among seven with 96.7 per cent.
Of the 10 members of the Polish Communist Party Politiburo, the lowest vote any received was 94.1 per cent, according to the newspaper tallies. There were 616 candidates for 460 places in the Sejm (Parliament) in the elections on Saturday.
They all ran on one list jointly presented by the National Unity Front of the Communist, Peasant and Democratic Parties.
