CHURCHILL FUND
The Churchill memorial fund in Christchurch now stands at £2l,s9B—still £1402 short of the target of £23.000. The fund has advanced only £3 since Wednesday—and nothing was received yesterday. One of the last contributions received was 10 dollars (valued at £3 Ils Id) from the Greenville Junior Chamber. South Carolina. Greenville has had a long association with Christchurch through the Donaldson airfield, where United States Antarctic support force aircraft were based until it closed recently.
