Alliance Plans Celebrations
Plans for celebrating Bastille Day (July 14) were discussed at a recent meeting of the Alliance Francaise. Proceeds will go to the Save the Children Fund. A feature of the meeting was the production of a comedy, “Le Commissaire est
Bon Enfants,” by G. Courteline. Actors taking part were Messrs J. Mcßride, J. Chaussivert, A. Arts, P. Jolidon and Z. Georgieff, G. Pickles, D. Walker and Miss A. Just. The programme was arranged by Miss A. Just, and the hostesses were Mrs R. Long, Misses M. Wilkenson and J. Miller.
