Mr Tshombe
Sir, —At a time when so many reports seem to belittle or smear Mr Tshombe and his efforts in the Congo, it is refreshing to read lan Colvin’s article in today’s newspaper. “The Press” is to be congratulated for this assessment of a man whom I believe history will record as one of the great pioneers of modern Africa.— Yours, etc., D.
