For Property

(N.Z. Press Association)

BLENHEIM, May 28.

One of Marlborough’s most attractive grazing and fattening properties, Lake Timara, comprising 608 acres of freehold rolling downs and heavy flat land, was sold at auction this afternoon to Mr L. Sutton, of Moa Flat, South Otago, for £55,000. A feature of the property, owned by Mr G. H. Robinson, is an artificial lake surrounded by some rare trees and shrubs. The land was sold as a going concern with about 1800 sheep and lambs, and a few head of cattle.
