Rare Coin Set Sold For £175

AUCKLAND, May 28.
A bid of £475 was received by post for a rare proof set of George V 1935 Waitangi coins at an auction at Auckland today. The set is one of only 364 issued. It contains a crown, half-crown, florin, shilling, sixpence and threepence—all in original condition. Bidding opened at £l5O and rose to the selling price of £475. A 1930 English penny sold for £lOO. Only about 200 of these coins were minted.
