S.E.A.T.O. MOVE
French Cut Staff (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BANGKOK, May 28 France has withdrawn its six military officers from the staff of the South-East Asia Treaty Organisation, a Bangkok newspaper said today. The newspaper said the six men—four officers and two enlisted men—were -ithdrawn for “reassignment.” No replacements were expected in the immediate future.
Colonel R. Tialat, representative to the S.E.A.T.O. Military Council, will remain as the French delegate, however, the newspaper said. The colonel will continue to attend S.E.A.T.O.’s weekly military representatives’ meeting.
