Taxation Advice
The Inland Revenue Department has arranged with the D.I.C. and Hay’s for information centres to be set up in these stores today and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. expert advice on taxation problems will be given to taxpayers.
The department says that this further step in its assistance campaign is additional to the service available at the Chief Post Office, High street post office and the post office savings bank between 6.30 and 8 p.m. on Friday.
Passed In.— A weatherboard bungalow at 83 Hartley avenue, Papanui, was passed in at £3500 at public auction The auctioneer was Mr G. H. Kissell.
