STOPPAGE BY BUSES
Threat From Drivers
(N.Z. Preu At lactation) AUCKLAND, May 27. Bus services operated by private companies in Auckland resumed soon after 2 p.m. after a stop-work meeting of drivers which began at 9.30 a.m. About 400 drivers discussed wages, holiday pay and sick pay. Conciliation talks with the employers on Monday failed to reach agreement. The drivers decided to stop work for 24 hours beginning next Thursday if their demands on wages and conditions are not met before then.
