Erection Of TV Tower Delayed
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 27. Because the team would be working in extremely dangerous conditions of ice and poor visibility during the winter, Australian riggers who were soon to have begun erecting the 400 ft television aerial tower for the new repeater station on the 300 ft Mt. Wharite in the Southern Ruahines would not now begin the job until October, the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation said today. This would not delay completion of the project.
