RELAXING AFTER STATE FINALS.—-After sitting the last of their State-final examinations yesterday, Burwood Hospital nurses played a basketball “brawl” against male nurses on the staff. In a medley of uniforms, a Canterbury representative football jersey was worn by one of the girls. No rules were observed and the final score was 2-all. A group of Christchurch Hospital nurses stayed on the sideline as replacements in case of injury and as cheer-leaders. After the game a “shield” was presented to the captains at a social function.
