Rain At Pass
More rain fell at Arthur’s Pass in May last year than usually falls in Christchurch in a whole year—29.27in. May was the wettest month at the pass in the whole year to March 31, in which a total of 168.7 in fell. These weather statistics were reported at the annual meeting of the Arthur’s Pass National Park Board yesterday.
