Club Gained 16 Members
Sixteen new members had been admitted to the RedcliffsSumner Garden Club during the year, reported the president (Miss W. Wickens) at the club’s annual meeting recently. Officers elected were:— president, Miss M. Wickens; senior vice-president, Mrs L. E. Smith; junior vice-presi-dent, Mrs L. M. Cameron; secretary, Mrs C. Hannah; assistant secretary, Mrs J. Higgens; treasurer, Mrs R. W. Archer; committee, Mesdames K. Allen, A. B. Cullens, D. A. Coman, E. Harper and G. Snelgrove; reporter, Mrs D. A. Coman; tea hostess, Mrs G. Snelgrove; bring and buy table, Mrs H. Davies and helpers; stewards (decorative, vegetable and cut flowers), Mesdames N. France, L. Price, J. Heard and R. H. Bingham.
Mrs N. G. Mitchell was elected a life member.
