LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
(1) Letters sent to tne Editor for printing should prefer ably be typed, otherwise they must be written in ink on one side of the paper only. A legible signature and full address are required whether these are to be published or not APO box number is not a suffi cient address <2) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers (3) The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which, for any reason, is unsuitable for printing; nor can he ac knowledge unsuitable letters although this will be done where it seems to be need ful, or enter into any cor respondence. «4) Letters must not be of more than 150 words.
F. K. Vail.—See statement from Christchurch printed today. F. Chilton.—Rather pointless. We prefer to deal with Commonwealth matters as and when they arise. Red For Danger.—The traffic superintendent comments: “On Saturday, May 15, the officer on duty received a telephone complaint regarding the lighting of the road works. A traffic officer in the area checked on the lighting and found some lamps were out, and these he immediately relighted.’*
