INCREASED WAGES

WELLINGTON, May 25.
Increases ranging from 2jd to 5Jd an hour in the minimum rates are provided in an award for concrete and pumice goods workers released this morning by the Arbitration Court.
Adult rates are from £l4 Is Sd to £l6 4s lOd a week and youths receive from £6 15s 6d to £lO 2s 7d, all retrospective to May 3. The award embodies conciliation agreement.
