The New Zealand trotter, Sonney Teal, won the Trotters’ Invitation at the Harold Park meeting on Saturday night, and became the only four-year-old trotler to win five races in one season at Harold Park. Formerly raced as a pacer, Sonney Teal has impressed in his 12 starts since being converted to the square trotting gait. Last night's was his fifth win. He' went out as the 5/2 favourite. Several other New Zealandowned or bred runners finished in the money during the night. They included Merry's Best. Brother Mac. Prince Brucus, and Lindsay Scott.
