Prospects For Year (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, May 3. Moulded Products (Australasia), Ltd., Australia’s biggest plastics group, has “good prospects in 1965 of improving upon 1964's performance.” The chairman (Mr F. L. Fitzpatrick) said this in the review included in the balance sheet issued today. Mr Fitzpatrick says the company’s future is very much wrapped up with the economic future of Australia. The company cannot be immune from any changes in the economic climate in which it operates, but subject to this “I feel that I should report confidently,” he added. In the year to December 31 the company lifted net profit from £385.325 to £537,564. Total turn-over rose by about 16 per cent.

Mr Fitzpatrick says the sales increase was general over the whole product range. He. added that the company’s balance sheet reveals a sound financial situation.
