Liquor Aid Sought
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 3. The New Zealand Rugby Union has been asked to support the New Zealand Golf and Bowls Association in their efforts to get chartered liquor licensing' for sports clubs. ' The union executive today received the request from the Manawatu Union. Manawatu said that the matter had been first raised by the Kai Toa Club and had received a favourable reaction in the Manawatu. The executive decided to refer the request to its council.
