Explorer Dies
(SZ.PA.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, April 30. Dr. James Marr, the boy scout who joined Ernest Shackleton’s expedition to Antarctica in 1921 has died aged 62. Dr. Marr was selected from thousands of boy scouts to travel on the expedition— Shackleton’s last. Shackleton died in the Antarctic in 1922. Dr. Marr later joined four other polar expeditions after qualifying as a zoologist. He became known as one of the leading scientific explorers of his generation.
