ANNIVERSARY OF SCHOOL
Shirley Plans Advance The Shirley Primary School Jubilee Committee has posted more than 2000 registration forms to former pupils, com mittee members, and teachers for the celebrations it will hold next February. So far only 200 have been returned The committee wants to get them all in and also the names of former Shirley School persons who may have been missed so that it can calculate the size of the gatherings. Since July last year, the committee has made the following arrangements:— Friday, February 11: School sports and a jubilee ball in the evening. Saturday. February 12: Reunion at school and a cocktail party in the evening. Sunday, February 13: Jubilee service in one of the local churches. The committee is using P.O. Box 2578, Christchurch.
