Chess Victory To Wade
f.V.ZP.A.-Reuter— Copyright) BOGNOR. May 2. A New Zealander. R. G. Wade, on Saturday won the Southern Counties Chess Union championship at Bognor for the third time. Wade, who scored eight points from 11 games in the 11-day congress, defeated N Littlewood. Of Sheffield, after 6hr 45min. Wade previously won the championship in 1957 and 1958. The main event, the Stevenson Memorial tournament, was won by the Belgian. Count Alberic O'Kelly de Galway.
