Indoor Bowls Final
Some outstanding drawing was seen during the Ashby Bergh Cup indoor bowls tournament on Saturday. There was an entrv of 280 bowlers and 31 teams reached post-section play. The final was between' teams led by H. Lack and P. Logan, and was won by the latter. After three ends Lack led, 4-1. but after seven ends the score was 5-all. Logan's team gained eight points during the last two ends to win, 14-6. Results:
Quarter-final.—P. Osborne 10, H. Dutton 4; V. Blackler 2. P. Logan 11; M. Preston 8, P. Nee 11: H. Lack 9, W. Cuttanee 7. Semi-final.—P. Logan 8. P. Osborne 8; H. Lack 6. P. Nee 4. Final.—Logan 13, Lack 9.
