Japanese Buys Llanlady (N.Z. Press Assn.-Z-Copyright) SYDNEY. A Japanese buyer paid £A3780 for Llanlady, a seyen-year-old mare in foal to the champion Australian racehorse, Todman. Llanlady was sold to Mr Ginzaemon Sujimoto of Tokyo for the equal top price paid at the annual Sydney Brood Mare Sales. She will be shipped to the stud of Itoh and Company. The purchase was the first for at least six years by a Japanese at a Sydney horse sale. The New Zealand-bred Llanlady is by Llanstephan out of Lovely Boquet. She was formerly a good-class performer in Melbourne. i
