Cattle Flown To N.I.
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 30 In two day’s flying the Railways Department rail-air service has flown almost 1000 head of cattle from the South Island to the north. It has flown 974 head from Woodbourne to Wellington in 38 flights. Two flights tomorrow will complete the transfer of the cattle for grazing in the Wairarapa.
