Following The Rain
fSpecial Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) EASTBOURNE, April 29. Sleet and rain went with the New Zealand cricketers most of the way from London to Eastbourne yesterday and there was no prospect of any net practice. This leaves only two days for training before their match at Arundel on Sunday and their move to Worcester on Monday. So after six days in England their only practice so far has been the match against the London New Zealand Club on Saturday. The players are doing their best to beat the unhelpful weather. Several of them have been running at the beach, others playing squash rackets. If the weather is still wet today they will be able to use an indoor cricket school.
