SURPLUS OF £550
A. and P. Assn. At Ellesmere The Ellesmere Agricultural and Pastoral Association had a surplus of £550 for the year, the treasurer (Mr J. H. McMillan) told the annual meeting. Officers elected were: President, Mr W. C. Chatterton: vice-president, Mr D. G. McClure; treasurer, Mr J. T. B. Purser: management committee, Messrs P. J. Abbott, H. C. Abbott, E. L. Adams, K. Bailey, T. E. M. Brooks, J. S. Brooks, R. B. Coe, A. A. Greenwood, W. Johnson, R. H. Kendall, L. B. Legg, W. K. Lemon, S. Boon, A. A. C. McPherson, J. A. McLachlan, L. A. McLachlan, E. K. Millar, A. J. Millar, W. Millar, G. D. Neave, A. A. Russell, W. S. Smellie, D. A. L. Tong and M. N. Watson. In recognition of his services to the association for more than 50 years, the last 12 years as honorary treasurer, Mr J. H. McMillan was elected a life member.
