People To Talk To

(N.Z. Frets Association) WELLINGTON, April 28. When inmates are released from Arohata Women's Borstal they will soon be given names of persons who have offered to help them and whom they can visit. The arrangements will be made by the Women’s Borstal Association. The chairman of the association, Mrs K. Macaulay, said in Wellington today that girls after release from Arohata said they were friendless and had no-one with whom they could converse. Members of the association knew persons in various parts of New Zealand whom they could recommend as people that girls leaving Arohata could contact. Members of the association regularly visit inmates of Arohata.
