Left To Visit S-E Asia

AUCKLAND, April 1.
The national organising secretary for the Girls’ Life Brigade, Miss G. M. Gebbie, left today for Sydney, on her way to New Guinea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaya where she will publicise the movement and encourage local leadership training. In Singapore and Malaya Miss Gebbie will select two trainee officers to afttend a leadership course in New Zealand later this year. In Hong Kong a highlight of her visit will be a visit to the Shui Hau School which has been adopted by the New Zealand G.L.B. which raises money to provide books and uniforms for the 30 or so children. In Sydney Miss Gebbie will address the Australian Federated Council of the brigade.
