Buyers Sellers a ton a ton
Newton King.—Newton King, New Plymouth merchants, stock and station agents, is to pay a steady 3 per cent . interim ordinary dividend on April 26. Last year total dividend was 7 per cent. Ordinary shares ex notes qualify for 8/12 of the dividend: 2 per cent. —(P.A.)
Skellerup Shares.—Skellerup Industries, Christchurch rubber manufacturers, has amalgamated its B shares with its other ordinary shares. All 20s stock units have been called in and will be replaced with two 10s shares with no difference in classification.—(P.A.)
Smith and Smith.—Smith and Smith, Wellington-based paint, wallpaper and glass merchants, has declared an interim ordinary dividend of 2 per cent on higher capital, ex dividend and payable April 15. Last year’s interim dividend was 2i per cent out of a total of 7i per cent.— (P.A.)
