Life Bovs Inspect Police Station

Accommodation in the cells of the Christchurch Central Police Station was more than taxed on Saturday morning when 33 boys were ushered into the cells. The occasion was a tour of inspection of the station by members of the Ist Rangiora Life Boy team, who were shown all aspects of police work in Christchurch. After lunch rounders was played against the 6th Christchurch team at Edmonds Park. Rangiora was beaten, 40-25. A possible of six was scored by John Rae, of the Christchurch team. Good scores were made by Alan Kissell and Neil Phillips, of Christchurch, with five rounders each. Five rounders were gained by Wayne Reid and Colin Legg, of Rangiora.
