Private Cars In London
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 22. A complete ban on private cars in central London, a heavy increase in parking tolls and the abolition of miles of parking meters will be considered by the new Transport Advisory Council as possible cures of traffic stagnation in London. If all else fails a complete ban on private vehicles in the crowded streets of the metropolis might be recommended by the council.
