The same view. The £2% million Factory December 1964 Right on schedule, exactly 13 months after site preparation began at Win, near Auckland, Fibremakers (N.Z.) Ltd. has made history by producing nylon yarn for the first time ever in New Zealand. 1 Within the next 18 months, output will rise to a level of 4,000,000 lbs. of yarn and fibre annually, with a significant saving to the country of over £1,000,000 in overseas exchange every year.
