J. J. NIVEN MOVE
One-For-Five Bonus Issue (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 21. J. J. Niven and Co., Ltd., Wellington engineer and merchant, is to capitalise £130,000 from pre-1957 profits in a bonus issue of one-for-five. The issue will raise paid capital to £780,000, and will be based on holdings as on March 30. The directors say that they' do not intend to increase the amount paid out in dividends in the meantime. The company has maintained a 10 per cent dividend since 1961. The last bonus issue by the company was a three-for-10.
