INCREASED MAJORITY
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PERTH, February 21. The Western Australian Government of Mr David Brand was returned to office yesterday with an apparently increased majority. Mr Brand’s Liberal-Country Party coalition, which held 26 seats in the old Legislative Assembly, appeared to have picked up one more ■from the Labour Opposition. Voting trends indicate it ;could end up with 28 seats. The Government also appears to have secured 19 of the 30 seats in the State Upper House, with a chance of winning another.
