FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA CONDUCTORS. —Mr John Hopkins (left), a former musical director of the N.Z.B.C. Symphony Orchestra, and Sir Malcolm Sargent, who arrived in Christchurch yesterday from Australia. They will conduct the Victorian State Symphony Orchestra during the Pan Pacific Arts Festival. The first recital, conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent, will be this evening.
