27 Acres Sold For £22,800
Twenty-seven acres one rood of rural land, in four blocks, in Cashmere road, was sold for £22,800 at public auction yesterday. More than 70 persons attended the sale, which was conducted by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd., on account of Mr H. R. Williams. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman.
Prices were:—Lot 1, 5 acres 35 perches, £5300; Lot 2, 5 acres 15 perches, £4500; Lot 3, 5 acres 20 perches, £4300; Lot 4, 11 acres 3 roods 10 perches, £B7OO.
