Bartlett Not Going
The fast bowler, G. A. Bartlett, will not be added to the New Zealand team which begins its world-wide tour next week. Bartlett, himself, has expressed doubts about his physical condition.
“There has been publicity given to the fact that Bartlett’s position may be further consideered for the tour,” said Mr J. L. Kerr, chairman of the New Zealand Cricket Council’s board of control, last night. “At the present time, reconsideration is not contemplated as Bartlett has intimated to the selectors that he does not feel sufficiently confident of his physical ability to complete the tour.”
