Visit By Two Indonesians

Two representatives of the Council of Churches in Indonesia, Dr. and Mrs J. Siregar, will visit Christchurch next month in the course of a tour of New Zealand as guests of the National Council of Churches ip New Zealand. Their visit is part of a longterm plan to bring representatives from Indonesia to New Zealand. Dr. and Mrs Siregar, who attended the annual meeting of the Australian Council of Churches in Sydney, will arrive in Auckland today. Dr. Siregar is the medical

superintendent of the 500-bed Rumab Sakit Emmanuel Hospital, in Bandung, mid-Java. He is accompanied by his wife, who is also a doctor, and is responsible for the maternity section at the Emmanuel Hospital. Dr. and Mrs Siregar will visit church groups and hospitals in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Dunedin, and Christchurch to discuss church work and distribution of medical supplies from New Zealand in Indonesia. While in Auckland they will attend the Maori section of the annual meeting of the National Council of Churches.
