Exemption Up To £l00 Urged
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. .4. Company donations to the Churchill Memorial Trust Fund should be exempt from tax up to a figure of £lOO, Mr D. Pool said at a meeting of the New Plymouth Chamber of Commerce this evening. The chamber Is to ask the Associated Chambers of Commerce to approach the Government seeking such tax relief. It also wants the exemption figure for individuals of £25 to be raised to £5O.
