A request from a reader has come in for a small homemade chocolate sweet using cornflakes. Well, I think this Is what she wants. You Will Need: 4 oz butter 1 cup flour i cup chopped walnuts 1 small teaspoon of baking powder Touch of vanilla essence 4 oz brown sugar

1 cup cornflakes i cup dates 1 egg Pinch salt Method: Cream butter and sugar, add the egg previously beaten and essence, then add flour, nuts, dates, etc. Make into small balls and roll into cornflakes, place on a cold, greased oven tray and cook for five minutes at 375 degrees.
