MR J. G. SOUNESS, the new chairman of the New Zealand Bankers’ Association. He has been general manager of the Bank of New Zealand since March, 1962. Mr E. B. Williams, chief manager for New Zealand of the Commercial Bank of Australia, Ltd., succeeds Mr Souness as the association’s deputychairman.
