X-RAY UNIT
Visits To Freezing Works The Department of Health’s mobile chest X-ray unit will visit freezing works in the Christchurch area this month. On January 26 it will visit the Belfast works' of Thos. Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., and at 2 p.m. the next day It will be at the Belfast works of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company, Ltd, where it will remain until 5 p.m. on January 28. On January 29 the unit will visit the works of the North Canterbury Freezing Company, Ltd, at Kaiapoi, and on February 1 it will be at the New Zealand Refrigerating Company’s works at Islington. From February 4 until February 26 the unit will visit freezing works and townships in South Canterbury before going to Timaru.
