LAST YEAR JIM PALMER was driving this 2.5 litre Cooper Climax, and in it he won the New Zealand championship, just as Hyslop had done the year before in the same car. Palmer finished fifth after a fine race. This year the Cooper will be raced by I. W. Dawson.
