BEHAVIOUR AT THE MOUNT
Only One Holiday Maker Charged (N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA, Jan. 5. Faced with only one case of disorderly behaviour from Mount Maunganui during the holidays, Mr G. J. Donne, S.M., asked today: “Is this the only one from the Mount?” Told it was, he commented. “It is most encouraging. This is the best year by far. There must be good people and a good crowd.” He fined Roland Keith Twyman, aged 18, a salesman, of Mount Albert, £5 for disorderly behaviour at 1.5 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Twyman, a police sergeant told the Court, had been “screaming and dancing” along a roadside.
