SUBURBAN’S VICTORY
Wellington Out For 132 Set 296 runs for a win, Wellington Mercantile was dismissed for 132 to give the Christchurch Suburban team victory by 163 runs in the annual match played at Christchurch.
D. Lahore made a foreful 61 for Wellington, but the remainder of the Wellington batsmen could not cope with the accurate bowling of D. Hooper and D. Gordon.
