MINISTER AGREES
Hospital Bd. Inquiry
The Ashburton Hospital Board has been informed that the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) has agreed to an inquiry into charges made by four doctors against the board about their conditions of work, the secretary of the board (Mr D. J. Aitken), said in Ashburton yesterday.
The inquiry is expected to begin before the end of January, and will be held in Ashburton, Mr Aitken said. At the moment no details of the inquiry, the form ■ it will take or the date it will begin are known, said Mr Aitken.
